Falice’s Good Advice

Meet Falice from Singapore:

TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF IN 1 LINE.

Emotional

TELL US SOMETHING MOST PEOPLE MIGHT NOT KNOW ABOUT YOU.

I am dealing with symptoms of depression, and my coping mechanism is music! Music helps me in my healing process, and not only do I sing, I write too!

WHAT’S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU’VE EVER RECEIVED?

One day at a time

TELL US ABOUT A TIME WHEN THIS PIECE OF ADVICE CAME IN USEFUL.

This advice came to me recently. Early this year, I felt that I couldn’t see the ‘finish line’. With so many things piling on, it was hard for me to get through my days, feeling like there was just so much to be done. I then realised that, hey, perhaps taking on life one day at a time, could give me more small wins, and slowly the journey to the finish line didn’t feel so daunting anymore. Focusing on each day, to make it the best I can, helped me to challenge my mentality, to shift the issues I’m facing from shackles from to catalysts towards positivity! I found ways to make myself happy, and today I can say that I am happier, taking on life, one day at a time
