Jeffrey’s Good Advice

Meet Jeffrey, a volunteer at The Hidden Good in Singapore.

TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF IN 1 LINE.

I am an energetic and artistic person.

TELL US SOMETHING MOST PEOPLE MIGHT NOT KNOW ABOUT YOU.

I had depression which almost led me to suicide when I was Secondary One.

WHAT’S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU’VE EVER RECEIVED?

I have 2 pieces of advice.

  1. If you have a problem or question, just ASK!
  2. Do not live as if you are in your own world.

TELL US ABOUT A TIME WHEN THIS PIECE OF ADVICE CAME IN USEFUL.

These pieces of advice were relevant on my first day of Polytechnic. I had to ask questions otherwise I’d mess up my assignments and Project Work. I shouldn’t live in my own world because I wouldn’t be able to enjoy my life in school.
